Hip Hop has lost one of it’s truly amazing talents, the producer of Run D.M.C Larry Smith who has died at the age of 63. He was credited for his work with Run-D.M.C , Kurtis Blow and Whodini.
Larry Smith was a queens native and a prominent figure in the Hip Hop history books, Get contributed to work of Kurtis Blow’s the breaks, which actually became one of the first Hip Hop records to get into the Bill Board top 100.
From working with Blow, he got a chance to meet Russel Simmons which then led him on to the production of their for two groundbreaking albums.
Hip hop has truly lost a legend there. And look what Hip hop has turned into!!
