Trap music is not really a genre I listen to much however I just to show you how it is possible to incorporate soulful chord progressions into any type of music. For this type of music and the electronic side though, the bass line can be tricky. Trap music tend to have diving 808 bass sound not really related to any particular key. If you are using soulful chord progressions you may want to be careful about the type of bass to use so that they match.
